This website located at www.foundationregistryi3.org (the "Site") is administered by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (the "Foundation") in association with other funding organizations listed as funders. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is a charitable trust existing under the laws of the State of Washington, U.S.A. These Terms are an agreement between the Foundation and you, the user. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the Site.

2. Description of the Site

The Foundation Registry i3 simplifies the process for organizations seeking matching foundation funds for their Department of Education Investing in Innovation (i3) proposal. The Site allows eligible organizations to register project proposals, upload supporting documents, and make those materials accessible to participating member foundations.

3. User Obligations

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering a proposal or creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be an applicant to the Department of Education's i3 program to register a proposal on the Site.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, design elements, text, graphics, and the overall look and feel of the Site are owned by or licensed to the Foundation and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Foundation makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Site or the information, content, or materials included. Not all organizations that register a proposal will be contacted and/or funded.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundation shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

7. Privacy and Information Security

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy and Information Security Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Foundation reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
